We people from South Tyrol love nature. For this reason we have nine Natural Parks. One of these is the Nature Park Rieserferner Ahrn, which covers areas in the Ahrntal / Tauferer Valley and the village Prettau / Kasern. Thanks to the great flora and fauna, the hiking tours we are proposing you here amazing:
The pass: Tauren-Pass - historical; Birnlücken-Pass - the northernmost
The peaks: Rötspitze - legendary; Dreiherrenspitze - the highest; Rauchkofel - magical
The huts: Lenkjöchelhütte, close to the glacier; Birnlückenhütte - where the river Ahr arises
The alpine pastures: Rötalm - along the miners-path; Bruggeralm - along the magical forest; Stegeralm - with a fantastic view
Many of these tracks are starting directly behind our house. For this reason our apartements are perfect for those who are loving mountaineering.
